I titled this compilation Independence Vol. 1 for specific reasons. To celebrate some of the independence that I feel from now being able to record my own albums and to be able to release them without having to sign to a record label. I am grateful for new technology basically that allows me to do this. I wrote and recorded this song (which rather speaks for itself) on the day I bought my first digital recording set-up. And after John Cluff helped to set it all up and get it goingand left. I made this recording. Its John's voice you hear at the end of the recording. My friend Steve added his vocal one night when we were just hanging out in my apartment.
